Who’s the face behind Fit Union?

That would be me – Ben. I took over the gym in January 2022 and have worked hard to make it the best it can be. I started as a PT trainer back in June 2018, right here under the previous owner, Tony.

My passion for fitness training and bodybuilding goes back over 10 years. I’ve been competing as a bodybuilder for the past two years, stepping on stage for the first time in 2023. I’ve got no plans of stopping soon.

But my favourite thing about this gym isn’t just the equipment or PT training – it’s the community we’ve built. That’s something you can’t buy. It only happens when you’ve got the right people in the right place. We’re proud to offer trusted Personal Training in Thanet and Fitness Coaching in Thanet as your go-to physical trainer. Frequently Asked Questions

Regular exercise offers a myriad of benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, weight management, increased energy levels, and better mental well-being. By incorporating physical activity into your routine, you can boost your overall quality of life and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

The frequency of your workouts depends on your fitness goals and current level of physical activity. For general health benefits, aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity. Additionally, include strength training exercises at least twice a week.

If you’re new to fitness, start with low-impact activities like walking, swimming, or cycling. These exercises are gentle on joints and muscles while still providing an effective workout. As you build endurance and strength, gradually incorporate more challenging exercises into your routine.
